About Me
Public education shaped who I am. As a California public-school and University of California, San Diego graduate, and the daughter of a community college science professor, I saw how education opens doors, creates opportunity, and strengthens communities.
As a lifelong learner, I earned a degree in Visual Arts, Media, with a minor in Asian Studies, plus certificates in Project Management and Clinical Trials Conduct and Management. My project management training prepared me to manage budgets and contracts, assess risk, ensure quality, and bring people together around shared goals.
My husband and I settled in Five Canyons in 2007, where we’re raising two CVUSD students. I’ve served our schools as PTA Treasurer, School Site Council member, FAME Coordinator, music and library volunteer, and CV Library Booklegger, while supporting the CV Educational Foundation, CVHS FIRST Robotics, CVHS Athletic Boosters, the CVHS Marching Band, and CV Plays.
I’m trilingual in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and I’ll bring a diverse perspective currently missing from the Board, while ensuring our community’s voices are heard. I’m running to help every student discover their strengths, fulfill their potential, and thrive.

Outside school and campaign events, I enjoy reading, tending my edible garden, drawing, playing pickleball, watching C-dramas, and spoiling our family cat, Kate.
Thanks from Students
Some letters I’ve received from students over the years for volunteering in the classroom.
